Niko, your smiling face and amazing personality blessed our family more than expected. You were always loving and agreeable, even when we knew you were in pain. You went above and beyond to please us when we knew you were suffering. You stole our hearts and will always live in our memories. We love you and miss you!

Ritz Carlton was adopted from PACC as a healthy kitten and found himself back hit by a car, left with paraplegia and incontinence. He spent time in a loving foster home and was adopted and returned twice. Each visit to the shelter he maintained his enthusiasm and was loved by all. He was a true ambassador of special needs pets.

Summer was found wandering the streets and taken to the shelter. A tiny corgi, with deformed legs, she must have had a sad prior existence. However, she spent a very happy 1-1/2 years with us, doing all the dog things she never had an opportunity to do previously.

My beautiful Barkley, whose life was taken way too soon. I miss you every day Barkley and am forever grateful to you for helping me get through a really hard time in my life. I hope you are going on lots of walks in dog heaven!

Aceyfoo, mommy, and daddy love you oh so very much! You are the bestest puppy in the whole world!

My fierce PACC e-list pup, Blue, ignited my passion for helping the misunderstood, struggling, and often overlooked dogs. Forever my inspiration, forever grateful for the lessons she taught me. Gone too soon, her legacy lives on in the many shelter dogs who have graced my life. Most saved and some not, they all deserve an advocate, champion, and fighting chance.

Nancy, you're the bravest girl I've ever met. You didn't get the best start in life, but you've come so far and brought so much love and joy to many. May your journey and brave spirit be an inspiration for all PACC pets. Mommy loves you with all her heart.

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

Our boy Roscoe gently pushed his nose into our lives and brought with it his passion and playfulness; his adventurous and loving spirit. He left us suddenly, without warning, and made us realize in a heartbeat all that we would miss. Roscoe captured our hearts and we will remember him forever.

Mandy was my first PACC dog. I adopted her in December 1999, and she desperately needed to get out of the shelter. Mandy was my "heart and soul" dog. She was calm, gentle and loved the two other dogs. She loved her walks and car rides. As she grew older, she enjoyed sitting in the backyard and relaxing. She was loved, and she knew it. She passed in December 2011.

A victorious soul embodying the names Nike and Vicit. His first days were deathly cold. The only one to survive his litter due to the compassion of others. Later, bravely recovering from TPLO with the help of his friends. All while keeping a spark in his eyes and an adoring love for his family. Victory will forever be his name.

Rescued you out the back door at PACC 10 years ago, sick and skinny. What a beautiful girl you were, my soul dog. Hope you loved your life as much as I loved you. Hope there are lots of lizards to chase on the other side. Miss you always Lolli girl. -Mom Dad & Linker

Dunkin gave us 16 years of unconditional love and we reciprocated in kind. Our lives were forever changed from the day he entered our house. Dunkin will ALWAYS be in our hearts and minds. Our hearts always skip a beat whenever we think of him...which is daily. You were truly our best friend!

Freckle will be remembered for her goofiness, her unblinking stare, her dedication to 'mommy,' and her grudging yet loving acceptance of 'dad.' She made us smile every day. In fact, she had a special smile herself, seen when we went on walks or played the game β€˜out’ (when we’d chase her out of the bedroom). Our hearts miss Freckle greatly.

Bee was simultaneously the bravest fighter and the sweetest girl you could ever hope to meet. After overcoming devastating pain at the hands of abusers, Bee got to spend the second half of her time on Earth living the good life with Sarah, Eric, and all her brothers. They were all so lucky to have each other.

We were fortunate to have Lucky in our lives for five years. His owners, John and Amy, trusted us with his care. Lucky spent vacations and Thanksgivings with us. I will never forget your sweet face as the car drove away that very sad day. We will miss you precious Lucky!

Hushpuppy's visit to AZ

Meesha was our girl, our Deputy Dawg, she welcomed every 4-legged friend that her mother brought to the house. Life will never be the same. Thank you for picking us to be your parents, Meesha. You will forever be loved and missed.

Wolfy blessed our family with love for 15 years. We will love him and miss him forever!

SOMEWHERE IN THE SHELTER...RIGHT NOW...IS A PIT BULL THAT SOMEDAY YOU WILL WONDER HOW YOU EVER LIVED WITHOUT.

Daisy the corgi was sent to a shelter at age ten after being a beloved family member. We adopted her and she had another happy 5-plus years with us.

Caya Zinkin will live on in our hearts forever.

On 2/26/2003, little did I know my life was to change forever by a 10-pound furball. When I went to adopt you, 4 other people also wanted to take you home. PACC had a lottery & my name was pulled!! I think about that moment & how lucky I was to be chosen. I quickly learned you were my Soul Pup! Thank you for an amazing 17 years! Thank you for teaching me true unconditional love! Thank you for making me laugh every day! Thank you for being my shadow, my companion, my support, my joy. I am forever grateful for our time together.

Tala, you taught me the meaning of unconditional love. You made me a happier and better person. I cherished every moment I had with you, you took a piece of my heart when you left this world for puppy heaven. You left your beautiful paw marks on my soul. Can’t wait until we meet again. Mommy loves you!

Legend was a great dog that diligently protected the backyard from all manner of creature. He loved playing and cuddling with his adopted sister and best friend Luna. He was taken from us too soon, but thanks to PACC, he lived his best life and is greatly missed by all.

My Angel Ellie, You gave us pure love and joy with your brave exuberant spirit. I pray you knew our love for you, dearest best friend. My heart is broken without you. We go together, you and I always. Someday you and I will ride in a car again to heavenly parks. Till then, you go in my heart.

Samson was my best friend. We went everywhere together. We were more connected than I have ever been with any person or animal. He will always be my warrior dog.❀️️

I adopted Kimball from Bide-A-Wee Shelter in Westhampton, NY. She was my first dog, and she taught me how to love dogs and care for them. She was my therapist and saw me through some difficult times. She was my world. She loved the grass and running around the backyard. Kimball's heart was always in New York, but she loved me and came to AZ.

La Chica Bonita was true to her name and breed. Not only was Chica beautiful on the outside, but beautiful inside. She had a delightful Havanese spirit, sharing her love and joy with everyone. We will be forever grateful to have had Chica in our lives. She will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace, sweet girl, 2004-2021.

We adopted Gus, his mom, and his brother from PACC in 2012 when they were puppies. Gus was always loving and happy. When diagnosed with lymphoma at age 6, we were determined to keep our pack together as long as we could. Gus went thru 22 months of treatment and never complained. His upbeat attitude inspired us. He trusted us to do the right thing, and we let him go 12/4/20 at home surrounded by his family. He is forever in our hearts.

Astro filled our lives with love, adventure, and joy for almost twelve beautiful years, making the world a better place for all who knew him. He worked with the JFCC Canine Corps as a therapy dog and lead the effort to reverse the dog ban at West Portal Park creating the first timed off-leash dog play area in San Francisco. He loved long hikes, car rides, and adventures with his family.

Stevie Wonderdog: we'll be loving you until the ocean covers every mountain high. Stevie, lover of treats, naps and ladies, loving you has changed us for the better. Until we meet again, sweet boy. No sleep till Brooklyn!

To Balto, my Bubbalub, the one who made me a dog mom. You are my soul dog and I will always love you.

SIMBA 2010-2023 If only our love could have saved you.

The kindest and bravest little doggie soul that ever graced this life.

Daisy was the sweetest little girl. She loved her brother, her squeaky toys & balls, and snuggling under a comfy blanket. Her funny facial expressions always made me laugh. She was such a gentle, loving soul. Her brother, Dude, left us just five months before, and I miss them both desperately. I'm so grateful to have had them.

For our Breezy Girl, the sweetest girl ever. Thank you for helping us to love again. We are so thankful for every minute spent with you and the joy you gave us. Dance on those mountains until we meet again. We love you, Breezy Baby.

Winston, the best dog anyone could ask for. You were perfect in every way. You were our best friend, our snuggle buddy and our angel. You brought so much joy to our lives. Fly, fly little wing. Fly beyond imagining. Take your gentle happiness where only angels sing. Your heart is pure, your soul is free. We’ll catch up with you when the time comes.

Best boy ever, loved by Ed and Cindy

Our beloved Corky. Warrior heart. Loving companion. Thank you for the 17 years of love and happiness you gave us.

My Mila was simply the best. She came to me under unusual circumstances, and I certainly didn't know what I was getting into. But within a day, her sweet voice and sweet kisses turned me into a better person. I miss her every single day. Our three months together were too short, but I'm grateful. I can't wait to see her again.

Izzy, Always in our Hearts, 2006-2019.

We rescued Moxie in 2007 from PACC and she has been my loyal and frisky little companion for 14 years, a heartbeat at my feet. I am not sure who rescued whom! There is no greater privilege than to have been loved by a dog. How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. -A.A. Milne

My boxer-mix Honey was a PACC adoptee. Severely emotionally damaged from her life prior to PACC, Honey & I worked hard -and she became the BEST DOG EVER! Our unique bond will warm my heart forever.

In memory of Slinky Daniel Mulrow Sr, a "miracle pup" who recovered from a back problem that left him requiring wheels to walk - though only temporarily.

Bear, my protector, and friend. Bear was adopted from PACC on Feb 28, 2015, then I surrendered him. But someone else adopted him and surrendered him and I readopted him and I never let him go until the day cancer took his life on Feb 10, 2020, 2 days before my birthday.

RIP sweet Sophie, born blind, valley fever spread to her joints, but never a complaint. Run free, happy girl! We miss your head tilt and the thunk, thunk, thunk of your tail. Gone far too soon.

Nina, my sweet angel baby. You are in my thoughts daily. I wish you were here to meet my baby girl, Ava. Until we meet again, my sweet teeny boo. I love you forevers.

Morgan Le Fay, or Morgana, depending on her dual nature. An enchantress melting your heart with her beautiful mahogany eyes. Possessing a kind heart, but always in control. A misunderstood puppy left to be forgotten. The first to come when one is in need. A protective mama and a fairy-queen working unseen magic to quiet the most boisterous of beasts.

Dunkin was the Tucson Lifestyle Dog of the year in 2007. Sadly, we lost him just recently. His parents Mike and Lois Nudelman gave him the best of care all of his life. He is greatly missed.

For Zoya, our beloved sweet girl. Thank you for being our best friend. We’ll miss you forever. Love, Karl, Brody, and Caroline.

Pepper was a beautiful, spoiled, and very smart Dalmation. We lost her last week. Her parents, Tim and Jan Henry, and I will miss her very much.

Lenny, I could never describe you in 60 words. Despite the two and half years I had you, you were more than just a chapter in my life. You stayed for me as long as you could. You're in the best of care now and hopefully rolling in an endless field of grass.

Daisy was my best girl for 15 years. She had so much personality and was not afraid to speak her mind, especially if one was a little slow meeting her treat demands! She was the sweetest, most easy-going little dog ever and brought such joy to my life. I'll never forget you little one.

Thanks, Lord, for Pebbles Molly loved me most Hershey & Zita.

Scout. There was nothing better than watching him point at birds or rabbits (even in his sleep). When he’d chase a lizard into a bush, his stubby tail would wiggle 100 miles an hour. He would spin circles in excitement to get ice cubes from the icemaker. We miss your quirkiness. RIP buddy.

Dude was sweet, funny, goofy and obsessed with Cheerios. He loved his human and followed her everywhere. He loved his littermate sister and always watched out for her. He left us for the Rainbow Bridge on 11/27, peacefully in his human's loving arms and at home. Our hearts are broken, and we miss his joyful spirit every day. Run free, sweet boy.
